شال تريكو حريمى مثلث بالباترون

Knitted shawl in garter st



Measurements:
Width at the top: approx. 220 cm
Length on the middle: approx. 110 cm

Materials: 200 g powder

CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) size 15 mm – or size needed to get 6 sts x 10 rows in garter st = 10 x 10 cm.

GARTER ST (back and forth on circular needle):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.

TIP FOR SWITCHING THREADS:
To avoid visible threads start with a new ball at the beg of the row and not in the middle of the piece.

SHAWL:
Worked back and forth on circular needle. Work from mid back of neck and down in GARTER ST - see explanation above.
Cast on 6 sts on circular needle size 15 mm with Vienna.
Row 1 (= WS): K all sts.
Row 2 (= RS): K 1, 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, K 2 (= mid sts), 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, K 1 = 10 sts. Insert 1 marker on each side of the middle 2 sts.
Row 3 (= WS): K all sts and YOs.
Row 4 (= RS): K 1, 1 YO, K until the 2 middle sts, 1 YO, K 2 (= mid sts), 1 YO, K until 1 st remains and finish with 1 YO and K 1 = 14 sts (i.e. 4 sts inc).
Row 5 (= WS): K all sts and YOs.

Repeat 4th and 5th row until piece measures approx. 110 cm vertically in the middle (i.e. inc 4 sts on every row from RS). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Then loosely cast off as follows: * Cast off 2 sts, make 1 YO on right needle, cast off YO *, repeat from *-* the entire row. Cut and fasten the thread.
