Size: S - M - L - XL - XXL - XXXL

Materials: DROPS FABEL from Garnstudio
150-150-150-150-200-200 g colour no 522, turquoise/blue
150-150-150-150-200-200 g colour no 904, lavender
150-150-150-150-200-200 g colour no 677, green/turquoise

DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) SIZE 3.5 mm - or size needed to get 28 sts x 30 rows with zigzag pattern = 10 x 10 cm.

DROPS ANGULAR SILVER BUTTON NO 534: 5-5-6-6-6-6 pieces

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.

STRIPES: Work stripes as follows:
2 rows 522, turquoise/blue
2 rows 904, lavender
2 rows 677, green/turquoise
Repeat stripes until finished measurements. Switch thread in the side, when sts for sleeve have been cast on, switch thread inside 6 sts in garter st in the side – so that the thread can be pulled upwards without showing in outer edge. Work the first 6 sts on needle with previous colour, switch colour, work the rest of row.

PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 to A.4. Diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS. NOTE! See diagram for size!

BUTTONHOLES:
Cast off for buttonholes on right band from RS. 1 buttonhole = K tog 3rd and 4th st from mid front, then make 1 YO. Cast off for buttonholes when piece measures:
SIZE S: 6, 13, 20, 27 and 35 cm
SIZE M: 6, 14, 22, 30 and 37 cm
SIZE L: 6, 12, 18, 25, 32 and 39 cm.
SIZE XL: 6, 13, 20, 27, 34 and 41 cm.
SIZE XXL: 6, 13, 20, 27, 35 and 43 cm.
SIZE XXXL: 6, 13, 21, 29, 37 and 45 cm.

BACK PIECE:
Worked back and forth on circular needle.
Cast on 146-162-178-194-210-226 sts on circular needle size 3.5 mm with 522, turquoise/blue. Work STRIPES - see explanation above. Work 1 ridge in GARTER ST – see explanation above, then work as follows - from RS: 1 edge st in garter st, repeat diagram A.1 8 times, finish with 1 edge st in garter st = 130-146-162-178-194-210 sts. Continue with A.2 with 1 edge st in each side. When piece measures 31 cm, work A.3 with 1 edge st in each side = 114-130-146-162-178-194 sts. Continue with A.4 with 1 edge st in each side. When piece measures 43-44-45-46-47-48 cm, cast on 33-37-41-45-49-53 new sts in each side = 180-204-228-252-276-300 sts. Work 2 ridges over the 33-37-41-45-49-53 new sts (work the other sts as before). Continue with A.4 with 6 sts in garter st in each side until piece measures 66-68-70-72-74-76 cm. Now cast off the middle 28-32-36-40-44-48 sts = 76-86-96-106-116-126 sts remain on each shoulder/sleeve. Continue in garter st over all sts. Cast off when piece measures 68-70-72-74-76-78 cm.

RIGHT FRONT PIECE:
Worked back and forth on circular needle.
Cast on 79-87-95-103-111-119 sts on circular needle size 3.5 mm with 522, turquoise/blue. Work STRIPES - see explanation above. Work 1 ridge, then work as follows - from RS: 6 sts in garter st (= band), repeat diagram A.1 4 times, finish with 1 edge st = 71-79-87-95-103-111 sts. Continue with A.2 and 6 sts in garter st and 1 edge st. When piece measures 6 cm, beg to cast off for buttonholes – see explanation above. When piece measures 31 cm, work A.3 with 6 sts in garter st and 1 edge st in garter st = 63-71-79-87-95-103 sts. Continue with A.4 and 6 sts in garter st and 1 edge st. When piece measures 36-38-40-42-44-46 cm, work 1 st in A.4 on needle in on band, i.e. no of sts in garter st inc and no of sts in first repetition of A.4 dec (the total no of sts is the same), repeat every 2-1½-1½-1½1-1 cm a total of 14-16-18-20-22-24 times (= 20-22-24-26-28-30 sts in garter st on band). NOTE! When sts from A.4 are worked in on band, work in stocking st over the remaining sts in the repetition. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 43-44-45-46-47-48 cm, cast on 33-37-41-45-49-53 new sts at the end of next row from RS = 96-108-120-132-144-156 sts. Work 2 ridges over the 33-37-41-45-49-53 new sts (work the other sts as before). Then work A.4 with 6 sts in garter st in the side, continue band in garter st.
When piece measures 67-69-71-73-75-77 cm, work 2 ridges over all sts with start from WS. Then cast off the first 76-86-96-106-116-126 sts from WS = 20-22-24-26-28-30 sts remain. K the rest of row.
Then work in garter st with short rows over band sts (beg from RS) as follows: * Work back and forth over the outermost 10-11-12-13-14-15 sts, work back and forth over all sts *, repeat from *-* until collar measures approx. 7-8-9-9-10-11 cm at the shortest (measured from the shoulder). Cast off.

LEFT FRONT PIECE:
Work as right front piece but reversed and without buttonholes.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew shoulder/sleeve seams. Sew underarm seams and side seams in one inside 1 edge st. Sew neck edge tog mid back with grafting/kitchener stitches. Sew neck edge to neck line in the back of neck (seam should be in towards WS). Sew the buttons on to left front piece.
