غطاء من التريكو لكاسات الشموع بضفاير وغرزة مخرمة
Set consists of: Knitted large and small cover for glass vase with cables and lace pattern
LARGE COVER: Covers fit a glass vase in with the following dimensions: Height: approx. 20 cm Circumference: approx. 57 cm Cover is worked smaller than the circumference of the glass vase to fit tightly.
Materials: 100 g colour no 07 light brown
CIRCULAR NEEDLE (40 cm) SIZE 4.5 mm - or size needed to get 20 sts x 26 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
SMALL COVER: Covers fit a glass vase in with the following dimensions: Height: approx. 15 cm Circumference: approx. 44 cm Cover is worked smaller than the circumference of the glass vase to fit tightly.
Materials: 50 g colour no 08, light beige
CIRCULAR NEEDLE (40 cm) SIZE 4.5 mm - or size needed to get 20 sts x 26 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
PATTERN: See diagram A.1. Diagram shows all rows in pattern seen from RS.
INCREASE TIP: Inc 1 st by making 1 YO, on next round work YO twisted (i.e. work in back loop of st instead front) to avoid holes.
KNITTING TIP: If you want a larger or smaller cover, adjust the circumference of the cover by adding or removing sts in rib (= K 3/P 3) in each side - no of sts added or removed should be divisible by 12, i.e. 6 sts (K 3 and P 3) in each side. The height of the covers is adjusted by adding or removing pattern repetition vertically. ----------------------------------------------------------
LARGE COVER: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 120 sts on circular needle size 4.5 mm with Merino Extra Fine - READ KNITTING TIP. Insert 4 markers in the piece as follows: Work * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, P 3 (= 33 sts), insert 1st marker, * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, K 3, insert 2nd marker (= 27 sts between 1st and 2nd marker), * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, P 3 (= 33 sts), insert 3rd marker, * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, K 3, insert 4th marker (= 27 sts between 3rd and 4th marker). Move the markers upwards when working. Continue rib K 3/P 3. When rib measures 2 cm, dec 4 sts on round as follows: Dec 1 st in each of the 2 middle P-sections between 1st and 2nd marker by P 2 tog (= 2 sts dec, there are 25 sts between 1st and 2nd marker), repeat dec between 3rd and 4th marker (= 2 sts dec, there are 25 sts between 3rd and 4th marker) = 116 sts on needle. On next round, work as follows: Work rib over the first 33 sts, work A.1 over the next 25 sts between markers, work rib over the next 33 sts, work A.1 over the last 25 sts between markers. Move the 4th marker upwards when working = beg of round, remove the other markers. Continue like this with pattern A.1 and rib in the sides. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work A.1 until piece measures approx. 17 cm, (finish after 1st, 3rd or 5th row in diagram). On next round, work as follows: Work rib over the first 33 sts, work A.1 over the next 25 sts - AT THE SAME TIME inc 2 sts - READ INCREASE TIP - over the middle 7 sts in pattern = 27 sts, work rib over the next 33 sts, work A.1 over the last 25 sts and repeat inc of 2 sts the same way = 120 sts. Then work rib the entire round. Loosely cast off with K over K and P over P when rib measures approx. 2 cm (piece measures approx. 19 cm vertically, i.e. approx. 1 cm shorter than the height of the glass vase). ----------------------------------------------------------
SMALL COVER: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 96 sts on circular needle size 4.5 mm with Merino Extra Fine - READ KNITTING TIP. Insert 4 markers in the piece as follows: Work * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, P 3 (= 21 sts), insert 1st marker, * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, K 3, insert 2nd marker (= 27 sts between 1st and 2nd marker), * P 3, K 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, P 3 (= 21 sts), insert 3rd marker, * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times, K 3, insert 4th marker (= 27 sts between 3rd and 4th marker). Move the markers upwards when working. Continue with rib = K 3/P 3. When rib measures 2 cm, dec 4 sts on round as follows: Dec 1 st in each of the 2 middle P-sections between 1st and 2nd marker by P 2 tog (= 2 sts dec, there are 25 sts between 1st and 2nd marker), repeat dec between 3rd and 4th marker (= 2 sts dec, there are 25 sts between 3rd and 4th marker) = 92 sts on needle. On next round, work as follows: Work rib over the first 21 sts, work A.1 over the next 25 sts between markers, work rib over the next 21 sts, work A.1 over the last 25 sts between markers. Move the 4th marker upwards when working = beg of round, remove the other markers. Continue like this with pattern A.1 and rib in the sides. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work A.1 until piece measures approx. 12 cm, (finish after 1st, 3rd or 5th row in diagram). On next round, work as follows: Work rib over the first 21 sts, work A.1 over the next 25 sts - AT THE SAME TIME inc 2 sts - READ INCREASE TIP - over the middle 7 sts in pattern = 27 sts, work rib over the next 21 sts, work A.1 over the last 25 sts and repeat inc of 2 sts the same way = 96 sts. Then work rib the entire round. Loosely cast off with K over K and P over P when rib measures approx. 2 cm (piece measures approx. 14 cm vertically, i.e. approx. 1 cm shorter than the height of the glass vase).
