Measurements: Approx. 45 x 45 cm – the cover fits a pillow of approx. 50 x 50 cm, it should then be stretched a bit to fit nicely. Materials: 100 g colour no 901, candy 100 g colour no 672, bourgogne or 522, turquoise/blue
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 4 mm (80 cm) - or size needed to get 21 sts x 42 rows in garter st = 10 x 10 cm.
PILLOWCASE: We have knitted 2 pillowcases; one in red nuances and one in blue nuances. One pillowcase consist of 2 squares that are sewn tog.
SQUARE: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 3 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with candy. READ THE ENTIRE PATTERN BEFORE BEGINNING TO KNIT. * K 2 rows with candy, then K 2 rows with bourgogne or blue/turquoise *, repeat from *-* while AT THE SAME TIME inc at beg of every row by working 2 sts in first st. When piece measures approx. 32 cm on the middle, from cast on edge up to needle (there are approx. 137 sts on needle), beg dec. Continue with stripes as before while AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st at beg of every row by K 2 tog. Work until 3 sts remain, cast off these sts.
Knit another square. Place them on top of each other, sew edge to edge along three of the sides. Place a pillow inside and then sew tog the last side.
