Materials:100 g for all sizes in colour no 911, fun lilac.
STRAIGHT NEEDLES size 4.5 mm - or size needed to get 18 sts x 23 row in stocking st with 2 threads = 10 x 10 cm.
GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows.
INCREASE TIP: Inc from RS by making 1 YO. On next row P YO twisted (i.e. work in back loop of st instead of front) to avoid holes. ----------------------------------------------------------
SLIPPER: Work back and forth from toes towards heel, sew slipper tog mid on top of foot when finished. Cast on 9-11-9-11-13 sts on needle size 4.5 mm with 2 threads Fabel (let the thread ends be approx. 30 cm for sewing the slipper tog when finished). Insert a marker in the 3rd-3rd-3rd-3rd-4th st and a marker in the 7th-9th-7th-9th-10th st. Work in stocking st back and forth - AT THE SAME TIME on 1st row (= RS), inc 1 st on each side of the 2 markers – see INCREASE TIP! Repeat inc on every row from RS a total of 5-5-6-6-6 times = 29-31-33-35-37 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Continue to work until piece measures 6-7-8-9-10 cm. Continue as follows: 7-7-8-9-9 st in GARTER ST – see explanation above, 15-17-17-17-19 sts in stocking st and 7-7-8-9-9 sts in garter st. When piece measures 15-16-18-20-22 cm, cast off all sts.
ASSEMBLY: Sew the thread at the toe through sts at cast on edge and tighten tog. Then sew the seam mid on top of foot in front loop inside ½ st, sew until where sts in garter st beg. Then sew tog mid back, edge to edge to avoid a chunky seam.
