CIRCULAR NEEDLE (60 or 80 cm) SIZE 6 mm - or size needed to get 15 sts x 21 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm. CROCHET HOOK SIZE 6 mm - for crochet tie.
DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 st by slipping 1st st, K 1 and psso. ----------------------------------------------------------
SHOULDER PIECE: Worked in the round on circular needle in stocking st. Cast on 204-222-240 sts with Alpaca Bouclé on circular needle size 6 mm. Work STRIPES in stocking st - see explanation above, until piece measures 5-5-7 cm (adjust so that this is on next to last round Lace). Then dec 38-44-50 sts - READ DECREASE TIP - evenly on last round Lace = 166-178-190 sts remain on needle. Then work stripes in stocking st until piece measures 26-26-30 cm (adjust so that this is on next to last round Lace). Then dec 38-44-50 sts evenly on last round Lace = 128-134-140 sts remain on needle. Then work stripes in stocking st until piece measures 33-33-39 cm (adjust so that this round is with Alpaca Bouclé). Cast off with Alpaca Bouclé.
CROCHET TIE: Work a ch tie with 2 threads Alpaca Bouclé on hook size 6 mm, approx. 2 metres. Cut and fasten the thread. Wrap it a couple of rounds around the shoulder piece, then tighten it tog and tie a bow.
