Set consists of: Knitted hat and neck warmer



HAT:
Size: S/M - L/XL
Head circumference: approx. 54/56 - 58/60 cm
Circumference: 47-51 cm
Height: 24-25 cm
Materials:Colour no 3112, powder pink: 100 g for both sizes
And use: Colour no 10, beige: 50 g for both sizes

DOUBLE POINTED NEEDLES SIZE 5 mm - or size needed to get 17 sts x 22 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
CROCHET HOOK SIZE 7 mm - for crochet edge.

NECK WARMER:
Size: One-size
Circumference: 60 cm
Height: 32 cm
Materials: Colour no 3112, powder pink: 200 g for all sizes
And use:Colour no 10, beige: 50 g for all sizes

CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 5 mm (60 cm) - or size needed to get 17 sts x 22 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
CROCHET HOOK SIZE 5 mm - for ties.
CROCHET HOOK SIZE 7 mm - for crochet edge.

GARTER ST (in the round on needle):
* K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

HAT:
Worked in the round. Loosely cast on 80-88 sts on double pointed needles size 5 mm with Nepal. Work 4 rounds in GARTER ST - read explanation above. Then work in stocking st until finished measurements. Continue in stocking st until piece measures 17-18 cm. Then dec as follows:
ROUND 1: * Work 8-9 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 72-80 sts = 8 sts dec.
ROUND 2 (and then every even numbered round): K all sts.
ROUND 3: * Work 7-8 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 64-72 sts.
ROUND 5: * Work 6-7 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 56-64 sts.
ROUND 7: * Work 5-6 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48-56 sts.
ROUND 9: * Work 4-5 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40-48 sts.
ROUND 11: * Work 3-4 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 32-40 sts.
ROUND 13: * Work 2-3 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24-32 sts.
ROUND 15: * Work 1-2 sts, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 16-24 sts.
ROUND 17: * Work 0-1 st, K the next 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 8-16 sts.
SIZE L/XL:
ROUND 18: Work all sts tog 2 by 2 = 8 sts.
All sizes: = 8 sts remain. Cut the thread and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. Piece measures approx. 24-25 cm vertically.

CROCHET EDGE:
Work with Puddel on hook size 7 mm along cast on edge as follows: * Work 1 dc, 1 ch, skip approx. 1 cm *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc. Cut and fasten the thread.

POMPOM:
Make 1 pompom of approx. 8 cm in diameter with Puddel. Sew the pompom on the top of the hat.

NECK WARMER:
Worked in the round. Loosely cast on 102 sts on circular needle size 5 mm with Nepal. Work 4 rounds in GARTER ST - read explanation above. Then work in stocking st until piece measures 30 cm. On next round, work as follows: * Work 4 sts, K the next 2 tog, make 1 YO *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 17 holes. On next round K all sts (incl YO). Then work 4 rounds in garter st, loosely cast off. Piece measures approx. 32 cm vertically.

CROCHET EDGE:
Work with Puddel on hook size 7 mm along cast on edge as follows: * Work 1 dc, 1 ch, skip approx. 1 cm *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc. Cut and fasten the thread. Repeat the same way along cast off edge.

TIE AND POMPOMS:
Work ch with hook size 5 mm and Puddel for approx. 120 cm = tie. Thread tie up and down in the round with holes on neck. Make 2 pompoms approx. 5 cm in diameter with Puddel. Fasten 1 pompom in each end of the tie.
