CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) SIZE 5 mm – or size needed to get 17 sts x 22 rows in stocking st with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk = 10 x 10 cm.
CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) and STRAIGHT NEEDLES SIZE 4 mm - for garter st.

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.

RAGLAN:
Dec on each side of 4 sts in garter st.
All dec are done from RS.
Dec 1 st as follows BEFORE 4 sts in garter st: K 2 tog.
Dec 1 st as follows AFTER 4 sts in garter st: Slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso.
Dec 2 sts as follows BEFORE 4 sts in garter st: K 3 tog.
Dec 2 sts as follows AFTER 4 sts in garter st: Slip 1 st as if to K, K 2 tog, psso.

BODY:
Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front.
LOOSELY cast on 200-216-232-248-268-284 sts (incl 12 band sts in each side towards mid front) on circular needle size 4 mm with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Insert 1 marker after 53-57-61-65-70-74 sts in from each side (= 94-102-110-118-128-136 sts between markers at the back). Work 5 ridges in GARTER ST over all sts - see explanation above! Switch to circular needle size 5 mm and continue in stocking st but continue the 12 band sts in each side towards mid front in garter st. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 40 cm in all sizes, work next row as follows from RS: 50-54-57-60-65-68 sts as before, cast off 6-6-8-10-10-12 sts for armhole, work 88-96-102-108-118-124 sts as before, cast off 6-6-8-10-10-12 sts for armhole and work the rest of row (= 50-54-57-60-65-68 sts).
Put piece aside and work the sleeve edges.

SLEEVE EDGE:
Worked back and forth on circular needle.
LOOSELY cast on 112-120-126-132-140-146 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Work 5 ridges back and forth AT THE SAME TIME on last row, cast off 3-3-4-5-5-6 sts at beg and end of row = 106-114-118-122-130-134 sts, cut the thread.
Put piece aside and knit another sleeve edge.

YOKE:
Slip sleeve edges on to same circular needle size 5 mm as body where armholes were cast off = 400-432-452-472-508-528 sts (do not work the sts when slipping them on needle). Insert 1 marker in all transitions between body and sleeves – then work 2 sts on each side of every marker in garter st (i.e. there are 4 sts in garter st in every raglan) and work the other sts as before in stocking st and bands in garter st.
When 3 rows have been worked (1st row = WS), make holes for belt, this is done in the middle of all 4 raglan ridges as follows (work all sts as before in garter st and stocking st): First work 6 rows back and forth over right front piece = 50-54-57-60-65-68 sts, cut the thread. Then work 6 rows back and forth over one sleeve = 106-114-118-122-130-134 sts, cut the thread. Then work 6 rows back and forth over back piece = 88-96-102-108-118-124 sts, cut the thread. Continue with 6 rows back and forth over the other sleeve and finally 6 rows back and forth over left front piece.
Then work over all sts again – AT THE SAME TIME dec for RAGLAN on next row from RS – see explanation above (dec 1 st on each side of all raglan sts). More sts must be dec on sleeves than on body, this is done on every row from RS as follows: On front and back piece: 1 st 32-34-36-38-41-43 more times. On sleeves: 1 st 22-22-24-26-26-28 more times and then 2 sts 10-12-12-12-14-14 times. After dec 96-104-108-112-120-124 sts remain on needle and piece measures approx. 80-82-84-86-88-90 cm. K 1 row while at the same time dec 20-24-24-24-24-24 sts evenly (do not dec over bands) = 76-80-84-88-96-100 sts.

COLLAR:
Switch to circular needle size 4 mm and continue in garter st over all sts - AT THE SAME TIME on 4th row, inc 1 st in each side - inc by making 1 YO inside outermost st, on next row K YOs twisted to avoid holes. Repeat inc every 4th row until finished measurements. Work in garter st until collar measures 14-15-15-16-16-17 cm, loosely cast off.

BELT:
Cast on 8 sts on needle size 4 mm with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk and work in garter st for approx. 100-110-120-130-140-150 cm, cast off.

POCKET:
Cast on 33-33-35-35-37-37 sts on needle size 4 mm with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Kid-Silk. Work in garter st for 20-20-21-21-22-22 cm, cast off. Knit another pocket.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew sleeve edges tog edge to edge in front loop of outermost sts and sew the openings under the sleeves. Sew on pockets approx. 18 cm from bottom edge and approx. 10-11-12-13-14-15 cm from mid front. Thread the belt in the holes on raglan in each side.
