GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle): 1 ridge = * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

MEASURING TIP: Because of the weight of the yarn the piece must be held up when measured. ----------------------------------------------------------
SHOULDER WARMER: Worked in the round on circular needle. LOOSELY cast on 76-88-100 sts on circular needle size 12 mm with 1 thread of each yarn (= 3 threads) and work 2 ridges in GARTER ST - see explanation above. Then continue according to diagram A.1. When piece measures 14-15-16 cm – READ MEASURING TIP and adjust not to dec on a round with YOs, dec 4-4-4 sts evenly = 72-84-96 sts. Continue A.1. When piece measures 25-27-29 cm, dec 4-6-6 sts evenly = 68-78-90 sts. When piece measures 30-32-34 cm, dec 10-12-14 sts evenly = 58-66-76 sts. When piece measures 35-37-39 cm, dec 10-14-16 sts evenly = 48-52-60 sts. Continue to work until piece measures 39-41-43 cm, work 1 ridge and LOOSELY cast off with K.
