Crochet rose flower





Materials:
50 g colour no 3620, red
50 g colour no 7238, olive

CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4 mm

FLOWER:
Worked back and forth. Work 15 ch on hook size 4 mm with Nepal, let the thread end be approx. 10 cm long, this is used for assembly.
ROW 1: Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 ch, * 1 dc in next ch, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 dc, 1 ch and 1 sl st in last ch. Turn piece.
ROW 2: 2 ch, in 1st ch from previous round work 4 tr and 1 ch, then work 5 tr and 1 ch in each of the next 4 ch, 6 dtr and 1 ch in the next 6 ch. Finish with 5 dtr, 3 ch and 1 sl st in ch-loop made at beg of 1st row. Cut the thread approx. 15 cm long and use it for assembly.

ASSEMBLY: Piece has a spiral shape and when sewn tog, the beg of 2nd row should be in the middle of flower. Use a needle and thread the end from the top and down the middle of flower. Tie tog the thread ends on the back, fasten tightly and cut the threads.

LEAF:
Work 10 ch on hook size 4 mm with olive. Turn piece and work back in ch-row with 1 st in every ch as follows: 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 htr, 1 tr, 1 dtr, 1 dtr, 1 tr, 1 htr, 1 dc and finish with 1 sl st in last ch. Cut the thread and tie the thread ends tightly tog.
