CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 7 mm - or size needed to get 12 sts x 16 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.


GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle):
1 ridge = 2 rounds * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

NECK WARMER:
Worked in the round. Loosely cast on 172 sts with army, work 2 ridges (finish with P 1 round = 4 rounds in garter st). Then switch to green/mustard print and continue in stocking st. Work 1 round and then work stripes as follows: * 1 round with army, 2 rounds with green/mustard print *, repeat from *-* until piece measures 28 cm. Then work 2 ridges with army (finish with P 1 round = 4 rounds in garter st), loosely cast off on next round.
