MEASURING TIP: The pattern is intended for a tablet measuring 20 cm in breadth. If your tablet has other measurements, add/remove 1 st in each side of A.1 for every cm the tablet is larger/smaller than 20 cm (a total of 4 sts on the entire piece).
GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle): 1 ridge = 2 rounds * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*. ----------------------------------------------------------
TABLET CASE: Worked in the round. Cast on 84 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with Lima - Read Measuring tip. K 1 round, then work diagram A.1 two times on round. Work A.1 until piece measures 22 cm or desired length, on next round dec 1 st over each of the 4 small cables and 2 sts over each of the 2 large cables = 76 sts. Switch to circular needle size 3.5 mm. Work in GARTER ST- read explanation above - over all sts until piece measures 25 cm. Continue in garter st, work until the middle of one of the 2 largest cables, cast on 20 sts (= loop), continue to work. Work 1 round over all 96 sts, then cast off.
ASSEMBLY: Place the case double and sew tog mid under. Fasten the button at the top.
