BAG: Work 55 ch on hook size 4.5 mm with 2 threads cerise. Round 1: Work 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 dc in every ch on each side of ch-row = 108 dc (54 dc on each side). Then work in the round. Work STRIPES AND PATTERN - see explanation above. Read CROCHET TIP! When all stripes have been worked, piece measures approx. 40 cm. Cut and fasten the thread.
HANDLE: Work 7 ch on hook size 4.5 mm with 2 threads off white. Work 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 dc in every ch = 6 dc. Read CROCHET TIP 2! Then work back and forth with 1 dc in every dc until piece measures approx. 95 cm. Crochet another handle. Sew handles on to bag, fasten handle 18 cm from bottom edge (after last round with 2 threads peach) and up to edge of bag. Sew handle approx. 10 cm in from each side. Fasten one handle on each side of bag.
CROCHET FLOWER: – see picture for colour combinations. Work entire flower with 2 threads.
Work 4 ch on hook size 4.5 mm with 2 threads off white, cerise, peach or yellow and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, work 9 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. Cut the thread and change colour. ROUND 2: 1 ch, in next dc work * 1 dc and 5 ch, skip 1 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 9 times, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 9 ch-loops. Cut and fasten the threads.
